The NASCAR Cup Series is kicking off its 2024 season with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on Monday.

Joey Logano grabbed the pole position after winning on Wednesday. However, rain on Sunday led NASCAR to postpone the race to Monday.

One of the highlights of this year’s Daytona 500 is Hendersonville’s own Josh Berry making his full-time Cup Series debut. He’ll be driving the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford, taking over from the retiring Kevin Harvick.

If you’re looking to catch the race, here’s how you can do it:

  • Green Flag Time: The Daytona 500 will start around 3 p.m. CT on Monday, Feb. 19.
  • Where: Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
  • Race Length: It’s a 500-mile race, covering 200 laps.
  • TV Coverage: FOX and FOX Deportes will broadcast the race.
  • Radio: You can tune in to MRN (specific station in Nashville to be announced).
  • Streaming: If you prefer streaming, you can use FUBO (which offers a free trial), the FOX Sports app (subscription required), or listen on MRN.com and SiriusXM Channel 90.

For those in Nashville, you can catch the radio broadcast on WAKM 950-AM. Dave Moody will be leading the commentary for MRN, bringing his experience since 1993 to the race.

This year’s NASCAR Cup Series has an exciting schedule lined up after the Daytona 500:

  • Feb. 25: Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway
  • March 3: Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
  • March 10: Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix Raceway
  • March 17: Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway
  • March 24: EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas
  • And many more races scheduled throughout the year, leading up to the Championship race at Phoenix Raceway on November 10.
